Our 4-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech starts with a pick-up from your hotel or airport. We make an enjoyable drive across the middle Atlas Mountains to arrive in Ifrane, which is known as the little Switzerland of Morocco and projects a positive picture of our nation due to its natural beauty and cleanliness. We then proceed on our journey to Azrou’s cedar forest, where we pause briefly to meet and feed the barbary macaques. In addition, we continue through Midelt, dubbed the “Apple Capital,” where we may have a delectable lunch.
In the afternoon, the road takes us to the incredible Ziz Valley via the Tizi Ntalghemt, an amazing scenery and a river of palm tree groves, where we would have a chance to make some captivating captures. Thereafter, our next stop would be in Erfoud, where we let you discover more about the several kinds of Dattes, since October is the month of the yearly Dates festival.

We begin our explorative journey with a knowledgeable visit to the nomadic family and have an opportunity to learn about their lifestyle while we have a flavorful tea in the tent. Moreover, we drive throughout an abandoned village to see Galena has been taken. In addition to that, we move to Khamlia village, where we can join the charming Gnaoua performance and dive into their culture. Consequently, we take some free time for an appetizing lunch at a traditional restaurant, where we may taste Berber pizza.
After visiting and discovering these enchanting spots, we move toward the plam tree groves of Merzouga village and learn about the old irrigation system that is still in use today. We finish our day with a rest at your glamorous hotel. You can have a chance to do some desert activity, such as riding a quad or a buggy over the unbelieveable sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, as well as catching an exceptional sunset and taking some memorable photographs.
During the third day of our Morocco Desert Tour, you can get up early to witness a gorgeous sunrise and have a yummy breakfast. Today, we meet after enjoying our breakfast at the Dades Valley hotel. We drive to Kalaat M’agouna through Roses Valley; we would have a wonderful opportunity to visit a roses cooperative to observe women making rose products. Furthermore, we continue the way through the palm trees of Skoura to arrive in Ouarzazate, whose other name is African Hollywood, where you can immerse yourself in the berber architecture of the Taourirt Kasbah and spend a brief time at the Studio Atlas.
After exploring these captivating locations and breathtaking scenery, we go to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of Morocco’s best-preserved kasbahs, it becomes a dramatic spot for movies and TV series; it has been featured in many movies and TV series, including The Mummy, Gladiator, and Game of Thrones. Afterwards, we head to the High Atlas Mountains and visit an argan cooperative, where you will see how Berber women make argan oil and other products. Furthermore, we enjoy the stunning views along the Tizi N-Tichka Pass and capture the beautiful photographs. Thus, we drive directly to Marrakech, where we end up our 4-day Moroccan desert tour.
