Our fantastic Marrakech desert tour begins with a pickup from anywhere in Marrekech. The Kasbah has been chosen to be the stunning spot to shoot movies and TV series such as The Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and more.
In the afternoon, our journey goes on through Ouarzazate. The city is famous as an African Hollywood because of its biggest studio in Africa and the spectacular landscapes. In Ouarzazate, we visit the captivating Taourirt Kasbah and the Atlas Studio. In addition, we head over the fabulous Skoura palm groves and Roses Valley, where an annual roses festival takes place in May. Moreover, we reach the quiet Dades Valley, where we stop by the rock formations that are known as Monkey Finger. Thus, we head to the accommodation for a relaxed evening and an enjoyable dinner.
The following day, we start with an exciting drive through the authentic Berber villages and breathtaking panoramic views. Our first stop would be at the Todra River, which is one of the enchanting canyons across the whole world. The Todra Gorges is also a wonderful attraction for climbers and bikers to practice their hobbies. In addition, it has been featured in an American TV show called “Expedition Impossible.”
Our explorative journey continues to Erfoud, which is famous for the dates and fossil variety; besides this, it still holds an annual dates festival in Octobre. While we arrive in the charming Erg Chebbi dunes, we prepare ourselves for an enjoyable camel trek over the desert dunes and a magical sunset to observe before we continue to our desert camp, where we feel the silence and allure of a very quiet place on earth as well as an unforgettable night followed by saharian rhythms and stories with locals.
Today, our journey takes us over the captivating Berber villages of southeast Morocco. We depart from our charming desert camp through Rissani; we stroll in a traditional market and meet locals from different places. Drive to Ouarzazate via Alnif, Tazzarine, Nkob, and Agdz. We pass breathtaking palm groves and make sure to stop for incredible photographs in a beautiful Draa Valley panoramic view. Thus, in the afternoon, we continue our desert trip to Ouarzazate, where our night stay would be spent.
Today is the last day of our Morocco desert experience. It takes us directly to Marrakesh, passing by spectacular Berber villages and breathtaking panoramic views. We leave the beautiful Ouarzazate after making sure not to miss any amazing places to visit.
We drive along the High Atlas Mountains, and we reach the landmark Telouet Kasbah, where an opportunity is given to learn about history during the French colonization and cultural variety. After lunch in the Tizi N-Tichka Pass, our trip continues to Marrakech, where it ends up either at the airport or your chosen accommodation.
