After departing from Marrakech, the route follows winding, narrow roads into the High Atlas Mountains, ending at the 2,260-meter-high Tizi n’Tichka Pass. In the afternoon, we head towards Ouarzazate, which is also called an African Hollywood because of its biggest film studio in Africa. Before leaving this charming city, we make sure to visit the Athlas Studios and the Taourirt Kasbah. We then travel along the wonderful views of the palm groves in Skoura. Additionally, the road takes us to Kallaat Mgouna, a huge valley where rose festival takes place in May every year. The journey comes to an end while arriving at the accommodation in Dades Valley.

During the third day of our Moroccan adventure, we advise you to wake up early to witness an exceptional sunrise from our desert glamping. We meet again and get ready for a gorgeous desert discovery. Today, wake up, have breakfast, and get ready to see and enjoy the road trip from the Sahara desert to Meknes via the fascinating Ziz valley. We start after leaving Merzouga behind. We travel to Rissani; it is a small town where there is a traditional market. The villages gather and exchange their goods on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Then, we stroll inside the market, explore around, and cross the fascinating Ziz Valley. We stop for wonderful photographs at the gorgeous panoramic view. We head to Midelt; it is famous as the apple capital.
In the afternoon, we continue our journey through the middle Atlas Mountains. We pass by the Cedar Forest of Azrou as we meet the barbary macaques, have fun, and feed them. Additionally, we head to Meknes, one of the Moroccan Imperial cities. Finally, upon our arrival, we observe places like “Bab Mansour,” “Sahrij Swani,” and “Qara Jail.” Overnight at the Riad.
We make sure to see important landmarks in Meknes and leave through Fes. Our discovery takes us to the outstanding Berber-Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It offers superlative knowledge and a walk around the archaeological area. Next, we travel through Fes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, beside cultural and religious sites.
We meet our local guide, visit the golden gate of the royal palace, and move to the beautiful blue gate, or Bab Boujloud, the main entrance to the old part of the city. Tangier is the city where the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean meet. We transfer you to the hotel for a comfortable stay.
The last day of our 8 days in Morocco comes to an end while we make a transfer from the hotel to the airport.
